Road to Salvation - How to Be Saved Through Jesus Christ

Road to Salvation through Jesus Christ and the gospel message
Jesus Christ Has Already Paid the Price:
Salvation is not something we earn through our works, goodness, or effort. The Bible teaches that all people have sinned and stand in need of forgiveness, yet God in His mercy provided the way of redemption through His Son, Jesus Christ. Through His death on the cross and His resurrection from the grave, Jesus paid in full the price for sin so that all who repent and believe in Him may receive eternal life.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." – Romans 3:23
We Must Understand Our Need for Salvation:
Human need for salvation and forgiveness through Jesus Christ
This verse reveals that every person stands in need of God’s mercy because all have fallen short of His perfect holiness. It removes the illusion that righteousness can be achieved through personal effort, moral behavior, or religious practice. No amount of human striving can bridge the gap between sinful humanity and a holy God. Instead, it humbles the heart and brings clarity to our true condition. Recognizing our sinfulness is the necessary beginning of repentance, leading us to depend fully on God’s grace and to receive the forgiveness and new life freely offered through Jesus Christ alone.
"For the wages of sin is death ..." – Romans 6:23a
Consequence of sin and spiritual separation from God
This verse shows the seriousness of sin and the reality that it leads to spiritual death and separation from God. It exposes the true cost of sin and prepares the heart to understand why Christ's atoning work is necessary.
Salvation provided through Jesus Christ and the cross
God Has Provided Salvation Through Jesus Christ:
God's love is most clearly revealed in Jesus Christ, who willingly gave His life on the cross for sinners and rose again in victory over sin and death. Salvation is not based on human merit, but on divine grace. Through Christ's sacrifice, God offers forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life as a gift to all who place their faith in Him.
"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 6:23b
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life..."
John 14:6
We Must Respond by Faith:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus... thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:9
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:13
"For by grace are ye saved through faith..."
Ephesians 2:8–9
Is it time you started a new life in Christ? If 'YES', pray the following prayer:
I come before You admitting that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins, and that He rose again in victory over sin and death. I turn from my sin and place my faith in Jesus Christ alone as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. Thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and the gift of eternal life. I surrender my life to You and ask You to help me follow Christ from this day forward. In Jesus Christ's name – Amen.
If you prayed this prayer of salvation, take a moment now to thank God for His gift of grace and new life in Jesus Christ.
Father in Heaven, thank You for loving me and for sending Jesus Christ to pay the price for my salvation. Thank You that what I could never earn, Jesus has already provided through His death and resurrection. Thank You for forgiving my sins, giving me new life, and receiving me into Your family. I praise You for Your grace, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. Help me now to grow in faith, obey Your Word, and live a life that honors Jesus Christ. May my salvation always bring glory to Your holy name. In Jesus Christ's name – Amen.
A New Life in Christ:
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature..."
2 Corinthians 5:17
